Arty-Fact: Guillaume Azoulay does not express his images as a filled-in outline, but rather, he achieves the subject form, the musculature, the expressions, the eyes, and the nose, by the subtle changes in the curvature of the line. His work is a flowing display of lines that are bent to portray the movement, the facial characteristics and even the colour.
“Vitesse” is a great example of this technique.
