Arty-Fact: In 2005, Nick Walker created an alter ego who visits major cities around the world – The Vandal. He is a black-suited and bowler-hatted character that allows the artist to declare his independence and freedom from classical street art.

Nick’s semi-autobiographical series, 'The Morning After’, encapsulates a style that is uniquely his. He creates images based on photographs of iconic world destinations, incorporating the 'Vandal' figure and distinctive splashes of colour.

"Having heard the term 'paint the town red' The Vandal decided he has one mission, take it to the extreme and paint in every colour imaginable, not just the town - the world!" ~ Nick Walker
