Daphne’s elegance, sensuality, and vulnerability made her coffin shot stand out among the other stars.Fascinated by the English socialite and fashion designer, Markus found a new opportunity to shoot her for the London Sunday Times. The photoshoot took place at the stunning gothic synagogue, the Angel Orensanz Foundation for Contemporary Art. The team developed a great rapport with their new muse, who showed them complete trust. Daphne was not phased for a moment when they asked if she would be comfortable being photographed with a giant albino python - just as she hadn’t flinched when asked to step into a casket for Keep A Child Alive.Photoshoots with Daphne followed throughout 2011 and 2012 in New York and Paris. The resulting images were published by magazines worldwide and used in beauty and fashion ad campaigns.
