Arty-Fact: "Sunshine in a glass" is the company slogan of Cognac Monnet, and Cappiello, with a charming literal-mindedness, depicts exactly that. The pure black background makes it stand out prominently. Cappiello's image was also seen on the label of the Monnet bottle.
The cognac firm was founded in 1905 by Jean Gabriel Monnet. Today it is part of the Hennessy Corporation.
