Medium: Oil on canvas, signed by the artist

Year: 2008
Size: 172.0cm x 142.0cm
Arty-Fact: “Every painting touches upon a universal feeling of love that is accentuated by the comforting fact that no one person or animal is alone in love. The notion of emotional ecstasy and the enjoyable taste of being cherished are pictorially portrayed in a readily-recognisable, stylized, semi-figurative mode. Indeed, it is a worldly expression of an element of his subconscious; an element that is undeniably but not entirely linked to the carefree innocence of his [the Artist] childhood and his deep affection for the one who nurtured him and the cows at home – his mother.” ~ Vidhya Gnana Gouresan
