Wazzup Addictees?
We hope this blog finds you well and you all made it through Hungry Ghost month unscathed by keeping those mischievous poltergeists happy with front row tickets to shows, offers of snacks and by burning hell money and paper offerings. Now that the ghosts have gone home, it’s time to celebrate the end of the autumn harvest with the Mid-Autumn Festival featuring mooncakes, worshipping the full moon, enjoying family and playing with lanterns. Don’t say we don’t teach you anything! 😜
In case you didn’t know, here are some fluffy arty tidbits that may just rock your world (maybe?)…
Smells Like Teen Spirit meets Culture Club
The Italians are culturing-up teenagers by offering a 500 euro ‘culture bonus’. Every 18-year-old will be entitled to claim the bonus to spend on ‘culturally enriching’ pursuits including going to theatres, concerts and museums, visiting archaeological sites, and buying books.
“Here we are now, entertain us…” Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana
Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the deck chair does go on…
A deck chair which survived the sinking of the Titanic (1912) is on display at the Museum of the City of New York. The chair is featured in its: “From Teaspoons to Titanic: Recent Acquisitions” exhibition. The show runs until 18 December.
Wooftemporary Art
Here at Addicted we love pooches, so our arty hearts were set aflutter when we learned of the world’s first art exhibition for dogs in London called ‘Play More‘, created by Dominic Wilcox.

We interviewed (not really) Roger the Shih Tzu (and before you say it, yes, this is how you spell it – we checked). When asked what he thought of the exhibition he replied, “Woof. I accidentally peed on a piece. Guess I own it now. Woof.”
Get Invaded (in the most hilarious way)
Brazilian artist and ‘Photo Invader’ Lucas Levitan is “steal[ing] photos and add[ing] an illustrative touch.”
Levitan is encouraging want-to-be-invaded peeps to #iwanttobeinvaded. Check out his Insta account @lucaslevitan.
