SIESTA x FINCA is a photography series originally shot in 2014 and revisited in 2022. Set in a sun-drenched villa on the edge of Europe's only sand desert, it captures the quiet rhythm of a Mediterranean afternoon.
"With Cordula as my muse, we embraced the stillness of siesta - the time when the sun is high, cicadas hum, and the world slows down. Drifting through the villa’s sunlit spaces, we sought to reflect the effortless ease of a summer day. As the sun dipped lower, the allure of the pool beckoned - a moment of refreshment after the languid heat.
