Some artworks decorate a space. Others completely alter the atmosphere the moment you walk into the room.
Ale Osollo’s works do exactly that.
Layered with symbolism, texture, instinct, spirituality, memory, and emotion, her paintings feel alive, as though they’re still shifting and evolving long after the final mark has been made.
We’re delighted to share a new selection of works by Ale Osollo now available at Addicted Art Gallery.

Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, Ale draws from Mexican customs, mythology, popular culture, and personal reflection, creating works that move somewhere between abstraction and storytelling. Surfaces are built up, broken apart, erased, reconstructed, and transformed until something emotionally honest begins to emerge.

Colours collide. Symbols drift in and out of focus. What first appears playful slowly reveals something deeper underneath.
Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels overworked. And that’s what makes the work so compelling.

Ale embraces experimentation in a way that feels instinctive rather than calculated. The unpredictable behaviour of materials becomes part of the final piece itself, with tension and balance existing side by side.

As Ale says:
“In my case, painting is an exercise of the soul.”
Underlying Ale’s practice is a belief that creativity can redirect human energy toward something more compassionate and more collective. Away from violence, self-destruction, and despair. Toward sensitivity, imagination, and shared humanity.

To coincide with the release of these works, we’re also launching an online exhibition.
